To Proceed with a Civil Wedding in Costa Rica, our lawyer will need the following information about the groom and the bride.
Information:
The following information must be sent to COSTA RICA DIVE, INC offices eight weeks prior to the ceremony.
. Full Name of Bride and Groom
. Current address(es)
. Professional degrees or line of work
. Father's full names
. Mother's full names.
. Parent's address(es)
. Marital status (number of times previous married)
. Passport number and nationality
. Copy of Birth Certificates for bride and groom.
. Official copy of original divorce papers (if applicable), certified at a Costa Rican consulate or embassy.
. For women (if applicable), 300 days must have transpired from the official date of divorce from former husband. Former husband's full name is require.
. The bridge, groom and two witnesses must bring their original passports to the actual ceremony.Documents:
The following documents must be in COSTA RICA DIVE, INC Offices two month prior to the ceremony. A Costa Rican Consulate or the Costa Rican Embassy in the United States must certify these documents before they are sent to us.
The presence of two witnesses is required for the wedding to take place. If you have your own, make sure they bring their passports.
