As the former publisher of Sport Diver, publishing director of Dive Travel and current publisher and editor-or-in chief of the Ocean Realm Journal, I have circled the globe more than I can count, worked with some of the best tour operators and experienced the finest resorts.

My recent tour throughout Costa Rica easily ranked among the top experiences of my career; the scenic cloud rainforests, steamy coastal jungles, the active volcanoes and the raging rivers, the big marine life and the tree hugging mammals. Nothing else has ever moved me in such a way as this destination of diversity in nature.
