SALCANTAY-MACHU PICCHU-TREK (05 Days / 04 Nights)

Day 1: Cusco Mollepata Soraypampa
We will be picked up by our guide to take a bus to Mollepata (start point of the trek). Where we get our breakfast and get ready o walk u to Cruzpata where we get our lunch. After lunch we will have few minutes to rest and continue walking to Saraypampa (3,850 masl). The scenery is absolutely amazing at this point for that we will stop for a while. Afterwards we will get to see our first campsite. Dinner.

Day 2. Soraypampa Chaullay
After we have our breakfast we will start to climb u to the first  pass of Salkntay. Wich is over 4,540 masl. Here we will stop to take some pictures of the beautiful views. After this, we will go down to the town of Chaullay. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Chaullay-La Playa Santa Teresa
We leave Chaullay, today’s walk is nice because we get to see some orchids and cornfields along the way. After the walking for five hours we’ll finally get to la Playa, where we get the lunch. Then we’ ll get a small truck towards Santa Teresa. We will spend the night here.

Day 4. Santa Teresa. Hydroelectrica Aguas Calientes.
After breakfast. We’ll walk for about two hours to get to the Urumbamba River. Which we are going to cross by cable. After this spectacular experience we’ll continue to get to the hydroelectric station, we take the train to Aguas Calientes from here. We’ll spend the nigh in Aguas calientes town and sleep in a hotel

Day 5. Aguas Calientes Machu Picchu Cusco
We have to wake up early to have breakfast and then take the first bus to Machu Picchu: where we are going to have a guided tour. Afterwards we are going to have some extra time to enjoy it t your leisure. In the afternoon we’ll take the train back to Cusco.
