CHOQUEAQUIRAO-TREK (04 Days / 03 Nights)

Day 1:
Cusco-Limatambo-Cachora (07 walking hours)
The bus will pick you up at 5:30 AM to start our journey to Cahora, on the road we will appreciate very nice villages like Izcuachaca. Limatambo and Inca bridge called Cunyac. We will arrive to the beautiful town of Curawasi to enjoy our lunch  then we will head to cachora. We will spend the rest of the day here to get familiar with the traditions and the people living in the town. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Cachora Santa Rosa / (07 walking hours aprox)
Breakfast. We will start our day walking through a long sloping path leading to the pass of Capullyoc (Waywa Qalli 3,800 masl) them we will contine our journey downward towards Playa Rosalina 1,550 masl. Place where we will get our lunch. In the afternoon we will start to climb up towards the village of Santa Rosa. We will camp here.

Day 3. Santa Rosa-Choquekirao-Santa Rosa / (12 walking hours aprox).
After breakfast we will start a long walk towards Maranpata (2,850 masl). And then we will continue to Choquekirao which is our main goal. One we arrive, we will enjoy a guided tour. In the afternoon we return to Santa Rosa which is our last campsite.

Day 4. Santa Rosa-Cachora-Cusco
After we take our breakfast. We will start the way back. The first fraction of the way is all down and after we cross the Purim’s River we will start to climb towards Capuliyoc Pass. From here the way gentler until we get to Cachora to get our lunch. After a good nap we will take the bus to go back to Cusco.
